NOTTINGHAM CONTEMPORARY – Print design
We’ve design a printed publication for Nottingham Contemporary to promote an off site show at Lord Byrons home Newstead Abbey. Byron is considered to be the first modern celebrity, so we developed a publication to promote the show that combined the look and feel of an 18th century document and a modern style magazine.
INK POSTERS – Creative direction
Joff and Ollie are the creative directors of Ink Posters. We developed a series of posters and a look and feel for the photography that shows limited edition screen prints in an average 30′s house.

BROADWAY CINEMA & MEDIA CENTRE – Wayfinding signage
Broadway asked us to design a directional signage scheme as a part of a capital redevelopment of their city centre building. The cinema and media centre is made up of four different buildings that were joined together as the organisation grew over its 15 year history. The signage scheme is designed to help the public access the broad range of facilities available in the building and positively contribute to Broadways public image.
JOHN NEWLING, ‘Writings 1995 – 2005′ – Book Design
The images below show the book we designed for artist John Newling. The book is a collection of his writings spanning a ten year period. We designed the book to have the feeling of journal or note book with work split over two volumes bound by one cover.
RICHARD JACQUES – Concert programme design
Richards Jacques is a classical composer. His name is synonymous with the computer games industry as he’s written and arranged music for some of the most successful games in history including Sonic the Hedgehog. The images show a program we design for a special retrospective concert of music written for the SEGA console.
MOMENTUM YOUNG WRITERS FESTIVAL 2005 – Print
An exciting fold out poster designed to commemorate the success of the first Young Writers Festival. The organisation used the piece to assist in fund raising for the event the following year.
WELLCOME COLLECTION, ‘Make a piano in Spain’ by John Newling – Book design
The Wellcome Collection commissioned us to design a book for the John Newling show at the Wellcome Collection on Euston Road. The book titled ‘Make a Piano in Spain’ – ‘What do you do to make yourself feel better?’ is a survey, analysis and poetic response to what people do to make themselves feel better.
ABACUS, ‘The first 50 years’ – Book Design
Abacus asked us to design a book to commemorated their first 50 Years in business. We worked alongside Geoff Hall the managing Director to bring together 50 years worth of stories and images in this hardback monograph book.
